A bit of Mexican magic can possibly energies the world with the plant power of Prickly Pear Cactus. The green expanse of the thorny Prickly Pear Cactus in Mexico has sparked off the Foundation of a green energy start up named Energy and Environment Sustainability ‘Suema’, with the idea of using a biogas generator to transform the waste of cactus into energy.

The biogas generators have been placed at the cactus markets, which churns the organic waste and blends it with a special mix of bacteria and heated to generate the biogas Which leaves the leftovers to be utilized as compost. The Prickly Pear Cactus has become an endearing part of Mexico’s identity and it is manifestly put in the middle of the country’s flag.

It is notably a green asset that has been passed down through the generations, eminently coveted, and it is the sole responsibility of the modern world to sustain and innovate it. Mexico, being the first emerging country to have announced its emission reduction targets in the United Nations, has catalyzed possibilities with its green power.
